Adult Enrichment Programs
“Alan and I are very happy to have Matt attending the Highpointe Center Day Program. This is a wonderful program with a great variety of both center-based and community service activities that have helped Matt acquire those important independent skills that he needs for every-day living, increase his motivation, and most of all challenge him to recognize his own strengths and abilities to achieve his goals in life. The warm and friendly staff members are wonderful mentors, very knowledgeable, experienced and have amazing patience and compassion for all of these unique individuals. Matt has been enjoying the new friendships and has made great strides with his social and speaking skills, which have also improved his independence. The ability to do a variety of community service projects has been a great way for him to be out in the community volunteering and learning a variety of new skills that will one day benefit him when he becomes employed. The support given to the parents has been the best that we’ve seen so far, and being able to provide a relaxed atmosphere at the Center gives parents the ability to communicate, volunteer and be a part of the Center also. Matt looks forward to the new Adult Evening Club twice a month where he can just hang out with friends and do all of the fun things he likes to do.”
